7 Days Ancascocha trek, Breathtaking views require effort. Everyone who joins us should be in good physical condition, as this is a strenuous hike that ascends over 4,550 meters to the Huayanay Pass (4,650 meters or 15,255 feet). However, by staying at high altitude for most of the hike, we will be able to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains, picturesque lakes, thundering waterfalls, and the 6,266 m (20,551 ft) Apu Salkantay that dominates the horizon, as well as archaeological sites such as Paucarcancha, Runkurakay, Sayaqmarca, Phuyupatamarca, Intipata, Wiñayhuayna, Puerta del Sol, all the way to Machu Picchu.

Your guide will always ensure that the group walks at a comfortable pace, taking breaks when necessary. Your safety, enjoyment, and comfort are our top priorities at ATP. We use only high-quality camping equipment to ensure maximum comfort, and our camp is set up for the six nights prior to our arrival. We are very proud of our kitchen staff, and the food our chef and his assistant can prepare while on top of a mountain will amaze you. Nothing will go to waste, and meals are planned to keep you energized for the day’s hike.
